European fiber paperboard producer and paper supplier M-real has received a gold award for its customer publication, M-real Magazine, for the “Best Overall Design, B-to-B” category in Folio magazine’s Eddie and Ozzie Awards.
 
In other M-real news, the company has announced plans to increase the annual folding boxboard capacity of its Äänekoski and Kyröskoski mills by more than 77,000 tons. The combined value of the planned investments is approximately $40.9 million. The Kyröskoski investment is scheduled for completion in late 2011, and the Äänekoski investment, in spring 2012.
